Cover crops doing their job 💪

@pemboaflowers are in full bed prep zone. They said, “With over 40 days of consecutive rain this year, they kept our soil protected & provided valuable nutrients and organic matter for the Spring season ahead. And don’t forget habitat for beneficial insects 🐞!

We sowed these @cotswoldseeds mix (phacelia mustard and radish) in early October which gave us the protection and biodiversity over winter and now we’re mulching and turning them in to get the beds ready in this block for our overwintered seedlings 🌱.”
