Now is the time to think about sowing Stewardship and SFI Wild Bird Mixes. We have fast growing 1 year mixes and 2 year mixes.

Despite the dry conditions we had some great results with the One Year Winter Bird Seed Mix in 2026 (see photo), this mix of small seeds like millet, radish and mustard is an economic way of sowing large areas.

We have several two year mix options. If you can grow kale well on your land, the Two Year Wild Bird Seed mix  with a high kale proportion in year two is a good option. For those wanting more variety in year 2, the Enhanced Two Year Wild Bird Mix  also includes Chicory and Fennel for the second year.
