Upright Hedge Parsley (Torilis japonica) wildflower

This is a medium to tall upright perennial reaching up to 150 cm in height with clusters of small white flowers with the occasional tinge of pink. This is common throughout Britain but not the north of Scotland. Upright Hedge Parsley is a member of the ‘Apiaceae’ family alongside other herbs like coriander and cumin alongside root vegetables like parsnips and celery.
