This mixture is slow to establish, but after the first establishment year there is a show of flowers which will provide interest for insects, birds and mammals. These soils are known for their ability to support a large selection of wild flower species which is why we have been able to create such a diverse mixture. Ref: MIXWFOS. This wild flower-only mixture can be sown successfully into open swards that are free of aggressive grasses and perennial weeds. Cut or graze hard, harrow or rake to create at least 50% bare soil before broadcasting and rolling the seed in.
